TPA 11
Theatre Performance 11: Acting (4 credits)

This course is primarily delivered through The Canadian Badlands Performing Arts Summer School* in Drumheller, Alberta, during the first three weeks in July. Students live in a supervised dorm and receive daily instruction in voice, movement, improvisation, theory, scripting, and other performance-related subjects. They develop and perform individual and group pieces, as well as participate in the professionally-produced annual Badlands Passion Play. Students also have the opportunity to attend two plays at the Rosebud Theatre and to speak with educators and professionals from colleges, theatres, and drama troupes.
The course costs roughly $1325.00 for BC students. Anchor Academy can release up to $200.00 in funding toward this fee.

  • The Canadian Badlands Summer School is operated under the auspices of Christ the Redeemer School Division and St. Anthony’s School in partnership arrangements with the Canadian Badlands Passion Play Society, Rosebud School of the Arts and the Town of Drumheller.
